About
I started this business blog as a way to constantly stay connected with business owners as well as other business consultants. I love the art of writing, the science of communicating and the world of wordsmithing.
My hope is that people will read these Pages and short posts and add meaningful comments and replies and perhaps be willing to submit an article for a Page topic, a comment or post about success or our ‘If Only I Had Done…’ section.
I really want to add value and knowledge to the people that participate in this site. I hope you share the same philosophy.
I came out of the rice fields of Louisiana, through the oilfields of Texas and ended up traveling the nation doing various heavy industrial dismantling projects. I have been involved in some pretty risky and dangerous operations in refinery repair and maintenance. I guess you could say I have worked in some of the toughest businesses in the world, and lived to tell about it.
I have almost always been involved in training and troubleshooting. I created Blue Collar University Blog as a place for blue collar managers and those that manage them to share questions, ideas and solutions to the challenges that blue collar managers face.
